Japan RepRap Festival (JRRF) is Japan’s largest 3D printing community event, carrying on the spirit of the open-source RepRap culture. Its greatest appeal lies in being able to see, touch, and talk about real machines — from custom-built printers to the latest commercial models — drawing a diverse crowd of first-time visitors, veteran makers, industry professionals, and international creators. At the inaugural 2025 event, over 1,500 people attended across two days, and the floor came alive with passionate conversations between visitors and exhibitors. For 2026, the event expands under the theme “same concept, double the space,” bringing together over 100 maker booths and around 50 sponsor booths under one roof. The participating sponsors are not simply here for business — their involvement reflects a genuine commitment to nurturing RepRap culture and the maker community in Japan.
